FLT Driver

Streamline Services are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operative to join a well-established global logistics provider based within DP World, Stanford Le Hope. ( You will be trained on the Bendi truck to support operations when required). This company offers storage, freight forwarding, and global distribution solutions, and has recently secured key contracts across the food and furniture sectors.

Please note: While this is a Forklift Operative role, your duties will be split between operating the FLT and hands-on warehouse work. You will not be on the truck full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift to load and unload trailers

* Putting goods away into the correct storage locations

* Handling a variety of goods including food and furniture items

* Supporting general warehouse operations including scanning, labelling, and housekeeping tasks

* Working as part of a team to meet operational targets in a busy environment

Requirements:

* Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (in-house or recently may be considered)

* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting

* Willingness to work both on and off the forklift as required

* Must live locally or have access to your own transport due to site location

Pay: £13.50 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (moving to rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00)
