Fire Door Fitter - VAN NEEDED

We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Door Fitter to join our client’s team on a self-employed basis in Colchester. The successful candidate will work through our agency for the first three months before transitioning to a direct subcontracting arrangement with the client.

Key Responsibilities of the Fire Door Fitter:

Installation and maintenance of fire doors to required safety standards

*

Ensuring full compliance with current fire safety regulations and industry best practices

*

Accurate fitting, including frames, seals, and ironmongery

*

Liaising with site managers and other trades on project requirements

*

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements of the Fire Door Fitter:

*

Proven experience fitting fire doors

*

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery preferred

*

Own tools, PPE, and transport

*

Valid CSCS card

*

Strong attention to detail and understanding of fire safety standards
