Finishing Operative

Select Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Lowestoft. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Finishing Operative to join their production team.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am – until finish (usually around 3–4pm).
Pay - £12.21 per hour.
 
About the Role:

This is a hands-on role working as part of the finishing team, completing various tasks such as assembly, packing, spray-line work, and degreasing. You’ll be following clear job instructions and contributing to the smooth running of operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Complete finishing tasks to specification using job cards and drawings
Perform quality checks and work to high standards
Assemble, pack, and prepare items for despatch
Support spray-line and degreasing processes as needed
Work efficiently to meet daily targets
Help improve working practices and support colleagues
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is beneficial
Good practical skills and attention to detail
Team player with a proactive attitude
Flexible and willing to learn new skills
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and working independently
