Job Summary
DK Recruitment are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our clients' team in a dynamic utilities and groundworks business. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial control across multiple ongoing projects, managing day-to-day financial operations, and providing strategic insight to support business growth. The ideal candidate will bring experience in the construction or infrastructure sector and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, site-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Monitor job costing, project margins, and work-in-progress (WIP) reports to ensure profitability across groundworks and utility contracts.
Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow to maintain healthy financial operations.
Liaise with site managers, quantity surveyors, and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely cost capture and financial reporting.
Prepare and present monthly management accounts to the senior leadership team.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal financial controls.
Coordinate year-end audit processes and liaise with external accountants.
Drive efficiencies across finance processes and contribute to the digital transformation of financial operations.
