Finance Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong financial management experience, either qualified/ part qualified in ACCA or CIMA, but we would also consider someone qualified through experience.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Manage and reconcile CIS payments, ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations
• Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to senior management
• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Invoice and accounts payable management
• Credit control and accounts receivable management with regular suppliers
• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits
• Ensure all financial transactions and expenses are accurately recorded
• Supporting the weekly payroll process
• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the finance team
• Point of contact for external auditors during annual audits

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial role
• Experience on finance management software's such as Xero and Quickbooks
• Strong knowledge and experience with CIS payments and VAT calculations (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• ACCA/ CIMA qualified (or equivalent) is preferred
