SALARY: £55k - £70k

THE JOB
We’re looking for a commercially minded finance professional for a Finance Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions job. As our operations continue to expand, this newly created role will play a key part in shaping the financial future of the business through detailed analysis, forecasting, and strategic input on M&A activity.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and Commercial Manager, this is a hands-on and strategic role that will give you exposure to a wide range of financial disciplines. You’ll be instrumental in supporting the Group’s growth ambitions through financial due diligence, business analysis, and long-term planning.
Your duties will include:
* Lead financial analysis on potential mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities
* Review and consolidate multiple company balance sheets across the group
* Develop and maintain long-term financial forecasts and scenario planning
* Partner with senior leadership to analyse business performance and identify value drivers
* Support fund management and capital allocation strategy
* Provide detailed analysis on share capital structures and implications
* Deliver financial due diligence and risk assessments for strategic projects
* Act as a business partner to both the operations and commercial teams
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid post-qualification experience
* Proven track record in Mergers & Acquisitions or Corporate Finance
* Strong understanding of group structures, intercompany reporting, and consolidation
* Experience managing or reviewing multiple balance sheets and cash flows
* Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator and business partner with senior stakeholders
* Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
