Spanning both inner and outer London, it is a borough of huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up.Your new role Finance Analyst - Finance Business Partner - Neighbourhoods & RegenerationYou will be a key business partner working closely with the council's Neighbourhoods & Regeneration.Main Focus of the role -Analysis and management of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) - making sure that payments are properly accounted for and transfers are made correctly.Responsible for financial support to the departments including such areas as the annual budget, monthly monitoring and statutory reporting.Support officers, providing them with high level professional advice on a broad range of financial issues.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on new legislation (relevant to CIL and S106) and accounting standardsWhat you'll need to succeed You will ideally have experience of working with Regeneration & Planning teams.Applications are also welcome from candidates with good business partnering experience who have worked alongside a range of stakeholders and customers and who have developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience of dealing with data and completing reconciliations, with good Excel skills.
