Field Service Engineer

An exciting new opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer is available with my client who are a global leader in automated machinery solutions used primarily in the printing industry.
Their systems are sold globally and this new position focusses on service, install and maintenance of said electro mechanical systems at customer sites as well as at my clients UK workshop.

Field Service Engineer role:
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for supporting customers globally. Ensuring that all equipment is expertly installed, maintained, and supported. This role offers a perfect mix of hands-on engineering work, training, troubleshooting, and technical expertise, as well as opportunity to travel worldwide, working alongside leading printing equipment manufacturers to integrate successful and high-quality print related solutions. You will also fit and test special machine modifications at the workshop before shipment to the customer.

Field Service Engineer requirement:
Proven field service and installation experience of electrical, mechanical automated machinery
Educated, and qualified in a relevant electrical, mechanical engineering discipline
Deliver excellent customer service experience with foreign customers.
Travel to the workshop when not on site for test and fitting purposes
Able to read electrical drawings
Can deliver training successfully
Able and willing to travel up to 2–3 weeks at a time
