IT Field Service Engineer
Concept are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Field service Engineer based in Luton / surrounding areas to travel between North London and Milton Keynes to repair, service and calibrate customers cash counting equipment
The successful Engineer will be working onsite for a leading high street bank on a 6 month contract
Details of the role:
- Attend customer sites (banks) to evaluate and repair, service and calibrate the customers ATM equipment
- Maintain all security requirements of the company and customer
- Support the internal service team and help desk on a regular basis
- Provide comprehensive sign off containing accurate detailing on completion of jobs
- Perform monthly stock check and ensure car is maintained and is legal and roadworthy
- Regionalised travel - travel out of are require on occasions
- Full training provided
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday day work
- 5 days per week depending on schedule -in hours, typically between 8am and 5pm
- Typically 4 sites maximum per engineer per day (2-3 average)
- Engineer may need to collect kit weekly /bi-weekly from MK to collect spares
Required skillset
- Experienced field engineers with experience of ATM / Epos / IT project work - Engineers must have basic fault-finding skills
- 2 - 3 years minimum experience
- Strong communication skills
- Be comfortable in competing script-based activity
- Must have a full UK Driving license and own reliable vehicle with business insurance and MOT
- Travel will be a requirement of this role
- Must have standard engineering toolkit, PPE hard hat / boots etc
- Engineer must be able to pass BS7858 vetting check
Rate details
- £144 per day shift (day rate based on 9 hours per day inclusive of travel time, and is based on works to be in hours Monday to Friday)
- Congestion zone, bridge and tolls and parking claimable
- Fuel card provided
This role has been assessed and deemed an Inside IR35 role
