Field Engineer (Vehicle Wash Systems)

Job Description Our client is a leading supplier of automated vehicle wash systems and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer.\n\nThe field service engineer will undertake machine installations, maintenance and repair work throughout Northern England & Scotland.\n\nThe Role: \n\nReporting to service manager you will be responsible for mechanical and basic 3-phase electrical service and repair of commercial vehicle wash equipment. \n Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;\n\nAssist with vehicle wash machinery installation and commissioning\nAttend machinery breakdowns and carry out fault find and repair work\nUndertake scheduled planned maintenance checks \nEnsure accurate visit reports including details of work undertaken /completed is recorded on computer systemCandidate:\n\nYou will be a competent engineer with excellent 3-phase electrical and mechanical fault find and repair skills. \n\nIdeally you will have recognised qualification in mechanical and /or electrical engineering and previous work experience with vehicle wash systems would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given.
