Fibre Planner

Fibre Network Planner (Onsite, 6-Month Contract, Outside IR35)
We are looking for an experienced Fibre Network Planner for a 6-month onsite contract (outside IR35) with an immediate start . You will work on large-scale core network projects , including site closures and diversionary works .
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and design fibre networks using GIS tools (eg, GE Smallworld ).
Prepare technical documentation ( LLDs, schematics, splicing schedules ).
Collaborate with cross-functional and offshore teams .
Manage Legacy networks, customer migrations, and high-risk cable outages .
Maintain clear communication and problem-solving under pressure.
What You Need:
Proven experience in fibre network planning .
Proficiency with GIS tools and understanding of fibre routing, cable types, and splicing .
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Contract Details:
Rate: £350/day (outside IR35)
Duration: 6 months
