Family Solicitor - Hove, East Sussex PQE: NQ-3 years Full-time | Office-based
We're seeking a confident and driven Family Solicitor to join a dynamic and growing team based in central Hove. This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified solicitors or those with up to 3 years' post-qualification experience to build a rewarding career in a supportive and fast-paced environment. The Role: You'll handle a varied caseload across all areas of family law, including:
Divorce and financial settlements
Child arrangements and maintenance
Cohabitation and separation agreements
Prenuptial/postnuptial agreements
Domestic abuse and protective injunctions
You'll also play an active role in business development through blog writing, networking, and building local professional relationships. What We're Looking For:
Strong knowledge of Family Procedure Rules
Experience in divorce, child law, and financial remedy work
Understanding of ADR, mediation, and arbitration
Excellent client care, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage caseloads independently and meet court deadlines
Empathy, discretion, and professionalism in sensitive matters
Proficiency in legal tech and case management systems (LEAP experience is a plus)
