Production Operative – Food Production Environment
Location: Hessle Road, HU3
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (either 6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm)
Pay: £12.21 per hour + Paid Breaks
Contract: Agency/Casual Work
We are currently recruiting Production Operatives for our client’s busy food production site based on Hessle Road, HU3. This is a casual role with regular shifts available, and the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.
You will be working in a warm production environment, handling frozen food products (not fresh fish), and supporting the preparation and packaging process. Tasks may involve tipping boxes of frozen fish onto the production line and separating products.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in a warm food production environment
Handling frozen food items and supporting the production process
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Assisting with sorting, separating, and packing food products
Performing basic quality checks
Keeping the work area clean and hygienic
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in food production or factory work is an advantage but not essential
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
A good team player with a positive attitude
Reliable and flexible to work either shift pattern
Comfortable working with frozen food products
