Facilities Electrician

TEXO Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician to join the facilities team of our external client located in Hartlepool.

This key role covers the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in a port environment, requiring expertise in HV switching, CompEx/ATEX compliance, and up to date knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on port infrastructure and buildings

* Install new electrical systems and infrastructure

* Work on CompEx/ATEX-certified environments including warehouses, gates, and automated systems

* Maintain and troubleshoot 240/415V motor systems and PLC drive systems

* Operate and maintain high-voltage (HV) electrical networks

Requirements:

* Time served Electrician with a minimum of 8 years experience

* Valid CompEx/ATEX certification

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certification (BS 7671:#####)

* Inspection and Testing Certificate (e.g., City & Guilds#####1 or equivalent)

* EV Installation Certificate C&#####21-34

* HV Switching Qualification

* Electrical design, City & Guil#####396
