THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Fabricator to work for our client in the South Tyneside area. This role enables the successful Fabricator to join a forward-thinking organisation who is growing rapidly via acquisition and via accessing new markets.
THE ROLE
* Fabricating components using various metals, including stainless steel and aluminium.
* Interpreting and working from engineering drawings with precision.
* Handling materials such as sections, plates, laser-cut, and machined components.
* Performing quality checks to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
* Collaborating with production and engineering teams to maintain efficient workflows.
* Following safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
THE PERSON
* You will be physically fit, have the ability to lift and handle heavy material
* Must be a timed served fabricator
* Flexible to work shifts and overtime to meet business demands
* Hold a full clean driving license
* Comfortable working alone once induction/training is complete
