Fabricator Welder

About the Role:

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Welder Fabricator with experience working with aluminium to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for fabricating truck bodies and components using the TIG welding process, ensuring a high-quality finish and long-lasting durability.

Key Responsibilities:

TIG welding of aluminium for custom-built truck bodies

*

Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings

*

Measuring, cutting, and assembling aluminium parts and panels

*

Carrying out final inspections and quality checks on your own work

*

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

*

Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines

What We’re Looking For:

*

Proven experience with TIG welding aluminium

*

Strong fabrication skills with attention to detail and finish quality

*

Ability to read and work from technical drawings

*

Confident using workshop machinery and hand tools

*

A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach

*

Experience building truck bodies or working in a commercial vehicle/bodyshop environment (desirable)

Desirable Qualifications:

*

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Fabrication/Welding (or time-served)

*

Welding certifications (TIG/aluminium)

*

Forklift or overhead crane licence (bonus)
