Job Role: Fabrication Supervisor
Location: Mansfield
Shift: Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 16:00, Friday 07:15 – 15:00
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour depending on experience
Benefits: 33 days holiday, free on-site parking, earlier start and finish to avoid traffic
The Company:
Manufacturing and engineering company across multiple industries, within structural, rail, and automotive, they are looking for a Fabrication Supervisor to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.
The Fabrication Supervisor Candidate:
* Have at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
* Come from a welding/fabrication background.
* Has worked with rail wagon, or withing the rail industry.
* Ability to read engineering drawings without supervision.
The Fabrication Supervisor Responsibilities:
* Working with air brakes, running gear, and bogies
* Assemble metal structures and components using hand tools and power tools
* Manage daily workshop activities, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently
* Perform quality checks on welds to ensure compliance with industry standards
* Help with the fabrication, and welding
