Tradewind are currently partnered with a large Primary school in the Sutton in Ashfield area who are looking for motivated educators who can have a real impact on their EYFS students.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working predominantly on a 1-1 basis with children with a range of different needs including ASD, ADHD, MLD and global learning delays - this is all in the EYFS department of this large primary school with a GOOD Ofsted rating (#####).
You will be responsible for following the child's educational health care plan and liaising with the SEN team and parents where appropriate to provide feedback on progress. You will also be involved with any decisions regarding areas for improvement.
These roles will be temporary in the first instance but for the strongest candidates, you will often be offered a permanent role with our partner schools.
What do we look for in a SEN Teaching Assistant?
A genuine interest in childcare and working with children with SEN, specifically those in the EYFS.
A reliable person who can provide consistency for SEN Children
Strong relationship builder with parents, staff and most importantly children
Previous experience with SEN would be highly beneficial - whether in a personal or professional capacity.
