We are looking for a passionate, nurturing, and creative EYFS teacher to join a high achieving, welcoming and inclusive primary school community in Hackney. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher to inspire young learners at the beginning of their educational journey, starting in September 2025. It is suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers.
Role Overview – EYFS Class Teacher
As an EYFS Class Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that support early development and ignite curiosity in young learners.
Creating a warm, stimulating classroom environment where every child feels safe, supported, and valued.
Encouraging the development of key skills in communication, language, literacy, and numeracy through hands-on and play-based learning.
Monitoring children’s progress and using formative assessments to tailor teaching to meet their individual needs.
Promoting children’s personal, social, and emotional growth, fostering confidence and independence.
Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to nurture a strong sense of community within the school.
