Job title: Import/Export Clerk

Reports to: Import Manager

Main purpose of the role

We are looking for a bright enthusiastic individual who has had at least 5 years general forwarding experience especially in Exports.

Key responsibilities

Work according to the export process: including all country specific requirements i.e.
Responsible for customer contacts
Assist in supplier and customer queries
Assure timely billing as per company policy
Deal with all aspects of Exports
Deal with all customer issues
Provide excellent customer service
Correct flow of documentation
Able to work independently within the export process
Be able to deal with all export shipments from start to finish
Knows supplier conditions, deliver terms, Inco terms and purchasing conditions
Good knowledge of computer system, and invoicing
Knowledge and experience of Customs and documentation
Good communication skills
Able to manage own working time effectively

Salary: £32k - £35k dependant on experience

Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm

Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays
