Events Officer The Role:
Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and driving engagement through innovative events? We're seeking a motivated and dynamic Events Officerto join our Marketing team!
As the Events Officer,you'll be responsible for meticulously planning, coordinating and executing a diverse variety of events. Your primary focus will be to increase enquiries, applications and enrolments, while ensuring these events align with organisational objectives and boost the college's profile within the community. This role requires a data-driven approach to achieve set KPIs, identify growth opportunities, and enhance the quality of events.

Events Officer Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organise, and manage events including open days, award ceremonies, graduationceremonies, employer events and other college-related events.
Coordinating all aspects of event logistics, including sourcing and booking venues, supporting literature and signage, booking procedures and event promotion.
Take a data-led approach and work to achieve specific KPIs based on feedback and booking data.
Identifying opportunities for improvement and growth of events.
Supporting other college staff with events that they are running.

Events Officer You:
The successful candidate will:-
Have proven experience in event planning, preferably in an educational related setting.
Be an enthusiastic person who is happy to take on a wide range of projects at the same timeand prioritise their own work to deliver to deadlines.
Have generalist marketing skills ideally including writing, social media content creation andevent management. Experience of photography videography would be advantageous but isnot essential.
Be a customer focused team player with strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. You will be adaptable and flexible and be able to effectively react tochanging priorities.
The role will involve regular travel around Wiltshire so it is essential that any applicants musthold a full driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
You will be required to work at our Trowbridge campus during training, your base campus will benegotiable thereafter.

Essential Qualifications
To hold Literacy and numeracy to level 2 or above (GCSE A-C).
To hold a Level 3 qualification (A level, BTEC Dip, Apprenticeship).
To hold a degree in relevant subject.
Commitment to and evidence of CPD.
