We’re enabling a zero br carbon, lower cost energy future for all, and working hard to decarbonise the br planet for generations to come. br br strong About the role: /strong br br As part of the EV Commercial Team, the br Estimator will; br - Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing options for high profile client EV installation and through life support services a complex supply chain including a wide range of hardware and software suppliers plus of energy connection, electrical and civil subcontractors br - Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to create suitably tailored and commercial costing and pricing activity and solutions br - Engage with multidisciplinary internal and external teams, ensuring that cost and price elements of customer proposals and variations to projects and services are cost-effective, competitive, margin delivery focused, meet high-quality standards and client expectations br - Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving strategies and the ultimately successful delivery of the EV Business Plan and Commercial KPIs. br - Source and manage supplier and subcontractor pricing together with Procurement and Commercial colleagues br strong br Who we’re looking for: /strong br br To be successful in this role you’ll br ideally have br - Degree level or equivalent in a relevant br discipline (eg Quantity Surveying) br - Proven experience as an Estimator with br experience gained in the M&E, Construction, EV, Installations, Energy br or equivalent sectors br - Strong knowledge of construction and electrical br systems, regulations, and standards br - Skilled in using and developing estimating br software and tools, and supporting continuous improvement and engagement br with related systems and functions to create efficiencies and transparency br of cost and price data br - Excellent analytical, organisational and br written and verbal communication skills br br strong Rewards and benefits: /strong br br As you help us to shape the future, br we’ve shaped our rewards and benefits to help you thrive and br support br your lifestyle.
