They are now recruiting for an experienced�Estimator�with a background in�roofing and cladding�to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects, ensuring profitability and competitiveness while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse project specifications, drawings, and contracts.


• Prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.


• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure pricing accuracy.


• Work closely with project managers to ensure estimates align with project scope and requirements.


• Conduct site visits for accurate measurements and assessments.


• Monitor project costs and make adjustments to ensure financial targets are met.


• Provide advice and support to the project team on cost-effective solutions.


• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and material costs to maintain competitive pricing.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an estimator within the roofing and cladding industry (minimum of 5 years).


• Strong understanding of construction costs, materials, and methods.


• Excellent numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Familiarity with industry software and estimating tools.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.


• A degree or equivalent in construction, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred).
