CR Smith Window Systems is a fast-paced, forward thinking manufacturing organisation, producing made-to-order, bespoke window and door products for the Social Housing, New Build & independent joinery sectors.
These sectors present significant opportunity for growth as demand for technically advanced, thermally efficient building products increases.
We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our rapidly growing Commercial department serving customers across Scotland and Northern England.
Requirements:
We require an elite performing self-starter who understands the importance of technical and financial accuracy, strong customer service and is able to learn quickly on the job. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the pricing and design of our products to meet the customer needs and support sales growth. Adaptability to the changing business needs is a must for this role.
Additional duties include:
Amending quotations
Being responsible for maintaining and updating technical and pricing changes on specification software.
Implementing any new product offerings on the specification software.
Collaboration on IT and process improvements projects.
Proactive contribution to team meetings and development & growth of internal and external opportunities.
What we offer:
Salary £32,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

The ideal candidate would have:
Previous estimating experience minimum 2 years
Degree, HND or HNC qualified in a Surveying/Construction/Building industry field
Customer facing/sales experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A technical mind and ability to learn and adapt quickly
Strong IT skills
Ability to manage own work load and multi-task in fast-paced environment
