Are you a skilled Estimator with a background in civil engineering? One of Scotland's most well established construction firms, renowned for delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors is looking to expand their team. 

They seek an experienced Estimator to support a strong pipeline of work in highways, earthworks, drainage, utilities, and groundworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for a wide range of civil engineering projects.

Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents to carry out cost analysis and take-offs.

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and supply chain partners to produce competitive tender submissions.

Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

Identify and assess project risks, opportunities, and value engineering alternatives.

Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where necessary.

Requirements:

Proven experience in estimating within civil engineering

Solid understanding of UK civil engineering construction methods and supply chain.

Familiarity with estimating software such as Conquest, Causeway, or similar platforms.

Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
