Job Description Job Title: IT / EPOS Engineer\n Location: Engineers based in own regions, travel will be required\n Contract Duration: 4 - 6 weeks (June start)\n Rate: £175 per day, Outside IR35\n\nAbout the Role:\n We are looking for experienced IT/EPOS Engineers to support a national PC replacement project for a leading pub and restaurant operator, covering 385 sites across the UK. This is a field-based role, working in regionalised areas.\n Engineers will follow a detailed deployment script to:\n\nComplete a backup of the legacy PC\nDeinstall and safely repackage the old hardware (labelling the return box)\nInstall and network-connect the new PC\nPerform testing and obtain site sign-off\nEach engineer will complete 2 sites per day, starting from 7am\n Key Responsibilities:\n\nFollow detailed procedures for legacy system decommissioning and new system setup\nEnsure installations meet client standards and complete all required testing and documentation\nTroubleshoot issues and escalate where necessary\n What We're Looking For:\n\nStrong experience with EPOS or IT hardware installations\nProven field engineering background with ability to work independently\nFull UK driving license and own vehicle (valid business insurance and MOT, MUST be supplied)\nSmart phone for sign off\nDBS check will be completed\n Job De...
