Monarch Education are working with tutoring provider to recruit an experienced Tutor to tutor English to students in small groups (Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4 & Adults). Group sizes are between 3-8 pupils per group per session.

This is a unique position for someone looking to challenge themselves by having root to branch input into planning and delivering a bespoke curriculum to a group of children who require extra tuition in English after school and some weekends.

There are opportunities to grow your pupil base to increase your earnings beyond an initial trial period of 3 months.

Pay: £30 - £40 per hour

Start: September 2025

Contract Length: 6 months minimum

Working Week: To be finalised, hours will typically be after school hour and/or on weekends, around 3-6 hours per week.

Location: Portishead, Somerset

The successful candidates will ideally have;

• Experience in teaching/tutoring children of all ages in English
• QTS / TESOL / CELTA
• Ability to plan a bespoke curriculum for mixed abilities
• Tutoring experience
• Ability to work in a team with workers from other authorities
• Independent working
• Loving and caring nature towards learning
