Pay: £160 - £240 per day (Depending on experience)

The Role
A well-regarded secondary school near Sholing, Southampton is seeking a committed and inspiring English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time teaching role, delivering English to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The position is offered on a long-term basis with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will join a supportive, experienced English department that works collaboratively to deliver high-quality education and promote a love of literature and language.
Key Responsibilities
Teach engaging and creative English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Foster a passion for reading, writing, and critical thinking
Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that support student progress
Work closely with the English department to share best practice and resources
Take part in school life, including parent evenings and enrichment opportunities

What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching experience
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A passion for English and a commitment to student success
