Day-to-day of the role: Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring student safety and adherence to school policies.
Deliver and assist in the completion of work set by the teacher.
Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
Perform daily lunchtime supervision duties.
Build positive professional relationships with students.
Supervise a range of subjects across the curriculum, including outdoor sports.
Utilise IT systems for setting work, taking registers, and internal communication.
For fully qualified teachers, fulfill the full Class Teacher role.
