The Role

As English Teacher & Literacy Coordinator, you will:

Deliver high-quality English teaching across KS3 to KS5

*

Lead whole-school literacy strategy, promoting reading, writing, and oracy

*

Coordinate literacy interventions and support staff in embedding literacy across the curriculum

*

Analyse literacy data to inform targeted support for students

*

Play a key role in raising literacy standards and contributing to the wider school improvement agenda

A qualified teacher with QTS and strong subject knowledge in English

A track record of excellent classroom practice and student progress

Experience or strong interest in leading literacy strategy across a school

Exceptional communication and leadership skills
