English Lecturers (GCSE & Functional Skills) ?? Location: West London?? Type: x1 Full-Time, x2 Part-Time (Permanent)?? Salary: £32,000 – £45,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)We are currently recruiting for three English Lecturers to join a further education provider in West London . These permanent roles include one full-time position and two part-time positions, teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English . We’re looking for dedicated professionals with a passion for helping learners achieve their full potential. Main Purpose of the Role To deliver high-quality teaching of English at GCSE and/or Functional Skills level, supporting a diverse range of students in achieving their qualifications and progressing in their academic or professional journeys. Key Responsibilities Programme Design and Delivery Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons across English programmes, including GCSE and Functional Skills.
Develop comprehensive schemes of work, lesson plans, and high-quality teaching resources.
Use a variety of assessment methods (formative and summative) to monitor student progress and set clear targets for improvement.
Provide timely, constructive feedback, both verbal and written.
