Engineering Assessor

Reed FE are seeking an experienced Engineering Assessor to join our team in Stamford. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining relationships with local employers and delivering high-quality apprenticeships with a focus on electrical engineering. The successful candidate will play a key role in the recruitment of new apprentices and manage their learning processes effectively to ensure high standards of education and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and account manage relationships with local employers, focusing on the development of Higher Apprentices.
Deliver high-quality apprenticeships by carrying out workplace assessments and delivering underpinning knowledge, particularly in electrical engineering, at levels 3-5.
Actively participate in the recruitment of new apprentices through contact with local employers, managing key accounts, and engaging with schools/colleges and events.
Complete all required documentation for projects, including Initial Assessment and Individual Learning Plans.
Ensure all apprentices receive an initial and diagnostic assessment and skills scan, recognizing prior learning where applicable.
Contribute to course review, internal verification, and self-assessment procedures within the department as appropriate.
