Job Description Employment Senior Solicitor (4 years'+)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a leading team based in Edinburgh. You’ll work with a diverse client base on a wide range of employment law matters.
The role focuses primarily on employer-side work, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters. You’ll manage your own caseload while supporting colleagues on more complex cases.
What you’ll be doing:
\n Advising on day-to-day employment issues, including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and TUPE matters
Handling the employment aspects of corporate and outsourcing transactions
Representing clients in employment tribunals, including discrimination, whistleblowing and dismissal claims
Supporting clients with settlement agreements, sickness absence issues and ACAS early conciliation
Advising on trade union and collective consultation matters
Contributing to business development and building long-term client relationships
