Embedded Engineer

Position: Embedded EngineerSalary: Up to £50,000 + BenefitsOffice Location: LeedsThe Role: KO2 are now working with a growing engineering business in the Leeds area looking to add an experienced Embedded Engineer to their team. Our client has been growing their team due to new project work and are looking for an embedded engineer who has experience developing products from scratch and also updating existing products, adding new features and functionality.They are looking for a low level embedded engineer who has strong programming skills in bare metal environments and is used to working close to hardware and has a strong appreciation of integration and hardware. You work will be 70% software and 30% hardware level tasks. Skills and Experience Required:Embedded CBare metal developmentMicrochip PIC24, dsPIC33, and ATSAMRS232, RS485, SPI, I2C, CANbus protocolsYou will be joining a multidisciplined engineering team and can expect plenty of variety in this role. Contributing at all stages of the development life cycle, writing new code, reviewing specifications, in house testing, debugging and providing the required documentation.
