Electronic Test Engineer

Copello are working with a leading Defence organisation to recruit for an Electronic Test Engineer to join them on a permanent basis, at their site in the Portsmouth area.

Key Responsibilities:

* Testing a range of low / medium complexity electronic manufactured products

* Diagnosing a range of low / medium complexity electronic manufactured products to component level (with occasional technical support) & understanding of Circuit Diagrams and component recognition

* Testing in accordance with defined Test Schedule / Instruction

* Manually / automatically using a wide range of new and old standard test equipment for example oscilloscopes, signal generators etc.

Essential Skills & Experience:

* HNC or equivalent qualification/experience in electronic/electrical engineering or relevant apprenticeship

* Electronic test engineering experience

* Understand complex electronic manufactured products would be desirable.

* Working experience within a Defence, Aerospace, Avionics, Maritime / similar engineering industry would be desirable.

Candidates must be a sole British Citizen to be considered for this position.
