Fridays 8:00am – 16:00pm

As an electrician, you will be required to:

* Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment

* Carry out safety-related and other miscellaneous electrical functions

* Use hand and power tools proficiently and safely

* Demonstrate basic mechanical knowledge

* Program VSDs and troubleshoot PLCs

* Test systems for compatibility and safety using diagnostic tools

* Work independently or as part of a team on various installations and maintenance jobs

* Interpret and work from electrical diagrams

* Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal standards

* Follow all safety regulations and use the required PPE at all times

Candidate:

* Apprentice trained to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Repair & Maintenance

* Minimum 2 years’ electrical experience in an industrial setting

* 18th Edition certified

* Full UK driving licence

* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices – qualifications preferred

* Willingness to travel and stay away when required

* Able to work under minimal supervision and handle fault finding confidently
