Electrician required, or would suit someone who has finished college, able to undertake all aspects of electrical installations, LED lighting installations, Minor works, test and inspection where applicable. To carry out works on electrical projects for the domestic and commercial areas
Main duties
* Undertake electrical installations.
* Working closely with sub-contractors and Project Manager to meet completion targets
* Undertake LED Lighting and electrical installations.
* Work to electrical drawings
* Produce a quality end product first time with no re-work required.
* Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
Person Specification
* Fully qualified 18th Edition IEE regulations
* 2383-18 18th Edition Update
* 2391-52 Test and Inspection desirable, not essential
* Knowledge of EV charging units – desirable, not essential
* Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours, should the need arise
* Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weight of up to 25kg
* Ability to effectively prioritise own workload
* Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong customer care focus
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to problem solve
* Adapt to technical changes within the industry and attend training courses should they be required.
* To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time
* To understand and comply with policies and procedures
* To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
* Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* To be responsible for company vehicle and all materials on board
* Undertake additional duties as instructed by the Project Manager
