Our client is a national FM Service Provider who are recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor / Manager to lead the team of electrical engineers working on a Hospital in Surrey. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
The role of Electrical Supervisor / Manager:
* Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
* Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
* Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
* Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
* Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
* Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
* Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
* Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with values.
* Impact the quality of own work.
* Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
* Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
The person spec:
* Electrical technical qualifications with proven supervisory/management experience
* Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
* Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
* Experience with analysing information and standard practices to make judgments.
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
* Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset
