Electrical Supervisor – District Heating Project

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor /Engineer to join our team on a district heating infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems within the energy or utilities sector and a good understanding of associated mechanical and civil works. You will play a key role in coordinating site activities and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the electrical scope of works on-site, including installation, testing, and commissioning

*

Coordinate with mechanical and civil teams to ensure integration of works

*

Manage subcontractors and suppliers to maintain schedules and quality standards

*

Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and project-specific procedures

*

Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and RAMS

*

Carry out site inspections, attend meetings, and report progress to the project manager

*

Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues on-site

*

Liaise with client representatives and project stakeholders as required

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer on district heating, energy infrastructure, or similar projects

*

Strong knowledge of electrical installations, controls, and distribution systems

*

Familiarity with mechanical pipework and civil aspects (e.g., trenching, reinstatement)

*

Gold ECS card

*

SMSTS or SSSTS certification

*

First Aid at Work

*

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation

*

Excellent communication and coordination skills

*

Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

*

Experience in CHP systems or district energy networks

*

Background in live site environments or public-facing infrastructure

*

Knowledge of temporary works or lifting operations
