We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to manage and oversee electrical installations on a large-scale commercial project. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, and a proven track record of ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the electrical team to ensure safe and efficient execution of electrical installations and maintenance tasks on-site.
* Oversee the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, electrical panels, and other systems according to project specifications.
* Ensure all work is performed in compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and local regulations.
* Monitor project progress, ensuring work is completed on time and in line with the schedule.
* Review blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical plans to ensure accuracy and proper installation of systems.
* Inspect electrical installations for quality and safety and make necessary adjustments to meet standards.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to electricians, apprentices, and other team members.
* Work closely with the project manager, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project coordination and resolution of issues.
* Maintain and update daily reports, safety logs, and work records.
* Ensure tools and materials are readily available and properly maintained.
Qualifications:
* Valid Gold ECS card
* SSSTS / SMSTS
* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Lead Electrician, preferably on large-scale commercial projects.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and troubleshooting.
* In-depth understanding of electrical codes, safety protocols, and building regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
* Experience in supervising and managing a team of electricians and tradespeople.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Relevant electrical certifications and licenses.
