Senior Electrical Site Manager – Major Healthcare Project
Location: Bexhill
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + car / allowance + bonus + PMI + 33 days holiday
Ready to take control of a flagship project in the healthcare sector? We’re looking for a capable, hands-on Senior Electrical Site Manager to lead the delivery of a technically complex, electrically led hospital facility in Bexhill. This is a £2M electrical-only package (labour and loose materials) within a broader £60M Kier-led acute mental health project for the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
You’ll be joining the project at a key phase, with early engagement giving you real influence over how the works are executed. The scheme itself is as modern as they come – a 57,000 sq. ft all-electric building with three wards, outpatient facilities, and cutting-edge energy efficiency measures. Solar PV, electric vehicle charging, intelligent water attenuation – this isn’t a standard install.
We need someone who can take ownership of the electrical package on site, ensuring high standards of install, tight coordination with the principal contractor, and clear management of direct labour. You’ll be the key on-the-ground presence, reporting to a Line Manager and working closely with QS teams to record variations, drive returns, and make sure the project is delivered on time and to spec.
To succeed here, you’ll need at least five years’ experience managing electrical installations on site – ideally with exposure to commercial, healthcare, education or fit-out environments. If you've run multi-phase jobs, dealt with client-side complexity, and know your way around both mechanical interfaces and clean handovers, we want to hear from you.
We’re open to permanent hires but location and commitment matter – you’ll need to be willing to travel and spend time on site. Ideally, you’re within reach of our Epsom office and comfortable working away during key delivery windows.
