Based in commercial offices and studios
This is a permanent full-time role working Four days on followed by four days off.
* The Engineers primary role will be all-round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure, minor installations, Breakdowns
* Have a detailed understanding of all new or current electrical systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health & Safety codes of practice.
* It is the Engineer’s role to act as a co-ordination point for the day-to-day activities on site between him or herself and the FM management team.
* The Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all activities allocated to his shift are undertaken with a professional and conscientious outlook with regards to the quality of work and Health & Safety, maintaining the 100% uptime criteria.
* To ensure that there are excellent standards of response to plant failures, completion of assigned work and ensure any abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are dealt with proficiently.
* The individual should have a very good track record and should be capable of running the operation whilst on duty including their respective shift engineer during night shifts and subcontractors.
* Ensure that any difficulties encountered on engineering activities are reported to the Engineering Supervisor / Manager.
* Ensure all record keeping functions are completed on a daily basis, understanding of escalation procedures.
* Be part of overtime for on site works and site cover
