Electrical mate

Our client, a leading player in the construction and energy sector, is looking for skilled Electrical Mates to join a dynamic team working on an Energy from Waste plant in West Bromwich. This is a contract position starting on Monday, 14th April, with a 6-month rolling contract. The job offers opportunities for overtime and night work if interested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting electricians with installing electrical systems, including containment, trunking, tray, conduit, and cabling
• Working on heavy metal work and installations in various areas of the plant, including waste bunkers and boiler rooms
• Following company and industry safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Supporting the team in ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
• Regularly communicating with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth project progression

Job Requirements:

• ECS or CSCS certification
• Experience in electrical installations in an industrial setting
• Ability to work from 07:00 to 17:00, with the possibility of overtime and night shifts
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction and energy sectors
• Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks and work on various plant areas
