The successful candidate will support the Engineering Area Manager in driving departmental goals, fostering team development, and ensuring consistent delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the operational season and winter maintenance period.

The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, an effective communicator, and possess strong leadership qualities to motivate and mentor a team in a high-demand engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure full implementation and control of all health and safety procedures within the electrical maintenance area.

Operational Leadership: Act as a key interface between the Technical Services and Operations teams, promoting effective collaboration and communication.

Maintenance Oversight: Support the planning and execution of annual maintenance activities and business KPIs, including planned preventive maintenance (PPM), inspections, and ad hoc repairs.

Team Development: Mentor and inspire a technically capable and cohesive team; identify, develop, and retain engineering talent.

Technical Expertise: Serve as a go-to technical resource during both planned and unplanned events, delivering reliable engineering support as part of the Echo 1 response role.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all internal and external technical requirements, including safety bulletins, technical manual updates, and procedural revisions.

Financial Stewardship: Demonstrate sound financial control within the scope of work and assigned authority.

Customer Focus: Act as the lead technical representative to internal stakeholders, ensuring responsive, effective service delivery.

Strategic Alignment: Promote and implement core values and technical services objectives while aligning with broader resort or organizational priorities
