Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Technician
Location: Croydon
Salary: £48,000 + living allowance (approx. £52,000 total package)
Bonus: 10% annual bonus
Pension: 7% matched
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
We are seeking an experienced EC&I Technician to join our Energy team in Croydon. You will maintain and improve electrical, control, and instrumentation systems, ensuring high plant reliability and safety. Ideal for those with a SCADA or process industry background.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct pre-planned maintenance and inspections
*
Diagnose and resolve faults
*
Manage calibration records and implement calibrations
*
Plan corrective and reactive work
*
Maintain CMMS records
*
Supervise contractors when needed
*
Ensure plant safety and compliance
Requirements:
*
Experience in EC&I within a process or manufacturing environment
*
Hands-on with CMMS, DCS/SCADA systems
*
Strong fault-finding skills
*
Ability to read instrument drawings and P&IDs
*
Familiar with plant safety systems and isolations
Qualifications:
*
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 / HNC (or equivalent)
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Desirable: 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
