With a strong presence in the commercial and office fit-out sectors, they provide comprehensive electrical solutions from design through to installation and commissioning, with project values typically range from £20k to £2m. Due to ongoing business growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join the team.

The Role:

As an Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a vital role in the pre-construction phase, preparing accurate, competitive estimates across a range of commercial electrical projects. You’ll work closely with engineers, project managers, and the wider pre-construction team to ensure all bids are aligned with client expectations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Tender electrical projects from £20k to £2m in value

* Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

* Identify scope, materials, and labour requirements

* Evaluate risks and explore cost-saving or value-engineering opportunities

* Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers/subcontractors

* Source and assess supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing

* Maintain an accurate cost database and utilise historical project data
