Job Description Electrical Engineer
Location: Ulverston, Cumbria
Salary: £35,000 (based on experience)
Hours: 37.5 per week (flexible hours available)
We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing engineering company based in Ulverston. They design and deliver technical equipment and systems for specialist projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team.
The Role:
As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll manage the electrical design process for client projects from start to finish. This includes producing wiring diagrams, BOMs, and other technical documents, while ensuring designs meet project and industry standards. You'll work closely with internal teams, support production during builds, and occasionally mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce electrical designs and documentation for client projects
Interpret client drawings and technical requirements
Create wiring diagrams and BOMs for procurement and manufacturing
Ensure designs meet company and industry standards
Support production with build and test queries
Collaborate with other engineers and project coordinators
