Electrical Engineer - Edinburgh - Salary up to £41,000 DOECBW have a new opportunity to join a leading facilities company on a permanent basis covering a large static site based in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be required to complete PPM's and Reactive based works and assisting with other building fabric works.
Hours of Work:- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 – 15:30pm early
- 14:00 – 22:00pm late (1 Week in 5)
Key Responsibilities:- Completing PPMs and Reactive based works and assisting with other building fabric works.
- All Planned Maintenance and Reactive tasks to be carried out to the highest standards and delivered within the requirements of the Service Level Agreements.
- Active involvement in day-to-day operation of the building services plant and equipment.
- Effective fault finding on building services plant and equipment.
- Carry out / assist in all minor new works including system installations and refurbishments as required.
- Coordination of sub-contractor activities.
- Participate in the shift and standby / callout rota if required.
- Maintenance of HVAC and associated plant.
- Carry out all Statutory Inspections and Log accordingly
- Manage workorder effectively through the CAFM system ensuring all notes and communication to client is informative.
Person Specification:- Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3
- City & Guilds - 18th Edition
- COSSH, IOSH, People Management (Desirable)
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Good communication skills
