Electrical/Electronics Design Engineer

A very exciting niche market engineering firm in Norwich is currently seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronics Design Engineer to join their team. This exciting opportunity involves working on the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for a range of complex projects. You will play a key role in supporting the lifecycle of various systems, including working on analogue and digital hardware, wiring design, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and instrumentation.
Create new and maintain legacy analogue and digital circuits, including component selection and evaluation.
Evaluate system requirements and provide technical solutions.
Generate test, interface, and supplier documentation.
Support prototype testing and the initial "first of class" testing phase.
Write reports, deliver presentations, and engage with customers and senior management.
Ensure designs are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and project management departments.
Perform other duties as required to meet the needs of the role.
