Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Moseley, Birmingham B13

Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Do you have a passion for supporting young children in their first steps into education? A fantastic primary school in Moseley, Birmingham is looking for an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team from September.
This long-term opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy Early Years setting, understands the importance of early development, and can build positive relationships with young learners.
In this role, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning
Work with small groups and individuals on early phonics, communication, and social skills
Assist with observations and contribute to learning journals
Help set up and maintain a stimulating indoor and outdoor environment
Support routines such as snack time, toileting, and transitions throughout the dayWe're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in an Early Years or Nursery setting
Understands child development and the EYFS curriculum
Is nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic
Can work as part of a team and follow direction
Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or teaching supportWhy Work with Long Term Futures?
